Aerial Silks discipline

Aerial silks — is a discipline in which the athlete performs to music on the sport equipment of the same name.

Aerial silks is a special air athletics equipment which consists of a hanging cloth fixed at a height and with freely falling ends. Requirements for the equipments are regulated are described in the IAAA Rules of holding sports tournaments.

Compare to acrobatic or circus performances in Air Athletics athletes perform at a height of 5-7 meters, and as insurance sports mats are used, and the requirements for sports costume are regulated.
