International Federation- International Air Athletics Association

1-Objectives of the IAAA

International air athletics association (IAAA):

  • brings national Federations together to develop and promote air athletics disciplines all over the world

  • development and recognition of sport disciplines through the national Federations

  • formation of unified rules and developing standards for Air Athletics disciplines

  • holding International Air Athletics Tournaments

  • rank the strongest athletes through sports tournaments and their classification with athletic titles

2-Conditions for International Federations joining

1. Only one national Federation can represent their country in IAAA.

2. To join the IAAA national Federation must:

  1. Have the public status of the National Air Athletics Sports Federation.

  2. Have active athletes in the Federation

  3. Admit and accept unified rules and standards in air athletics disciplines.

3-Membership opportunities for the national Federation.

1. The International Air Athletics Association (IAAA) has both full membership and associate membership as observers.

2. In the status of an IAAA observer, national Federation gains all the rights and opportunities of a member of the Federation but without right to vote, i.e. does not have the authority to participate in the management and organization of the working proses of the International Federation, but may

  1. run sports Tournaments to form the National Team

  2. represent the national team in International Tournaments

  3. to participate as an observer (without vote) in the work committees and expert groups of the IAAA

3. In the status of current member of the IAAA, a National Federation gains all the rights and opportunities of a member of the Federation with the right to vote, i.e. has all the rights to participate in the management and organization of the working proses of the International Federation through its authorized representatives in the committees, work and expert groups of the International Federation. Full members also can:

  1. run sports Tournaments to form the National Team

  2. certificate judges of the National Federation

  3. certificate of athletes (athletic titles) in air athletics

  4. organize a system of education and qualifications for trainers in the disciplines of air athletics

  5. maintain a universal open register of sport schools and studios that practice air athletics disciplines and participate in the professional certification program.

  6. send (represent) their representatives to committees, work and expert groups of the International Federation

  7. send (represent) their judges after the attestation to work in International referees’ commissions of the IAAA at International Tournaments.

  8. to organize International tournaments on its territory under the supervision of the IAAA

  9. provide the necessary assistance and support to the new Federations in the status of «Observers».

4-Membership of the Organization shall be determined as follows.

1. Any national Federation, when becoming a member of the IAAA — initially receives observer status.

2. During a 3-month or 12-month period, the national Federation receives the status of a full member subject to compliance(fulfillment) with the following conditions:

  1. have the public status of the National Air Athletics Sports Federation

  2. organizes or plans to organize National Sports Tournaments in the disciplines of air athletics

  3. admit and accept unified rules and standards in the disciplines of air athletics

  4. has official resources (a web-site, a group in the social network) which contains information on the current rules, disciplines and standards of the national Federation and the IAAA

  5. have active athletes in the Federation in the disciplines of air athletics

  6. Pay the annual membership fee.

3. In the case of violation of the membership conditions or the liquidation of a National Federation, it is automatically excluded from the IAAA membership, in all other cases, withdrawal from the IAAA occurs only on the initiative of the national Federation.
