2021 April, 24 . The Commission of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation recognized pole sport as a separate sport in Russia, by the effort of one of the pole sport federation. Recognition of a separate discipline as an independent sport confirms the necessity of continuing joint work of the national federations and the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation on recognition of other disciplines of air athletics — aerial hoop and aerial silks.
